Josie is a lighting designer and photographer based in Brooklyn, NY. She received her BFA in Design & Technology from emerson college, and has four years of experience in lighting design for architectural, museum exhibit, and experiential projects.

Her artistic approach is rooted in abstracted meshes of design elements—most specifically, light and its ability to direct the eye as intended. Experimental analog processes make up the bulk of her photo & film work. She prioritizes working with her hands and favors photochemical processes which make no promises of consistency.
